Work In Progress

This year, children across the country will be participating in Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day on April 25, 2013. You are invited to help build new experiences by bringing your child to work with you. Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day connects what children learn at school with the actual working world. This national program helps girls and boys discover the power and possibilities associated with a balanced work and family life, and encourage children to dream and think imaginatively about their family, work and community lives.

Here at Fox Valley Technical College, we invite children to participate in workshops related to different programs we offer, and different jobs our employees do to make FVTC a great place to work and learn.

The recommended age nationwide is ages 8-18.

Most schools require a permission slip. Please contact your child's school. If your school does not have a specific form, we have provided a sample permission form (pdf).

Participation in the workshops is optional. Space may be limited.

Registration is now closed.
