FVTC FFA Career Development Event for 2013 is set for Saturday, April 6, 2013
REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 15 THROUGH FRIDAY, MARCH 29.
The FVTC Campus and Agriculture Center will be under several building construction projects at this time. Please follow the signs for entrance into the building and to contest sites.
2013 Fox Valley Technical College
FFA Career Development Event
Arrangements are being completed for the 38th annual Fox Valley Technical College FFA Career Development Event. The event will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at Fox Valley Technical College, 1825 North Bluemound Drive, Appleton, WI. The contest check-in will be from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. at contest location or inside door #10.
The Fox Valley Technical College FFA Career Development Event at FVTC will offer thirteen opportunities for your judging team to practice or qualify for state events. The following contests are qualifying events for the Wisconsin FFA Career Development Event: Agricultural Mechanics, Dairy Cattle, Floriculture, Horse Science, Livestock Judging and Wildlife. We are asking that all entry/registration forms be submitted by 4:00 pm, Friday, March 29, 2013. Please register at www.fvtc.edu/ffacde.
Please print out your needed contest information, entry/registration forms and FVTC Campus/Building maps.
Note: The entry fee this year will be $25.00 for each CDE team. Entries received after 4:00 pm, Friday, March 29, 2013, will not be accepted for competition. Please make checks payable to FVTC - FFA Career Development. Checks must be received by Wednesday, April 3, 2013.
Please check FVTC "Contest Committee List" for your assignment. If you have not been assigned, please contact Randy Tenpas at 920-735-5673. If you choose not to work, you will be assessed a $50.00 Chapter Registration fee.
THERE WILL BE NO CELL PHONES ALLOWED DURING THE EVENTS!

| Dairy Products-- Teams will assemble at the D.J. Bordini Center |
| Agriculture Mechanics -- Teams will assemble at the Agriculture Center |
Wildlife - Teams will assemble in the Agriculture Center

| Agronomy -- Teams will assemble at the Agriculture Center |
| Horse Science -- Teams will assemble at the Transportation Center in Room T178 (Inspection Safety Bay) and will be transported to Vinland Stables. |
| Poultry -- Teams will assemble at the Transportation Center in Room T119 (Diesel Mechanics' Lab) |
Dairy Cattle -- Teams will assemble in Room A170 (Door #16) by 8:15 AM and will be transported to Milk Source Genetics in Kaukauna.

Livestock Judging -- Teams will assemble in Room F108
(Door #3)
by 8:15 AM and will be transported to Outagamie County Fairgrounds
Arena in Seymour. |

Meat Evaluation -- Teams will assemble in the Cafeteria/Commons.

| Nursery/Landscaping -- Teams will assemble in the Cafeteria/Commons and the event will be held in Room F130A & F130B. |
| Forestry -- Teams will assemble in the Cafeteria/Commons and the event will be held in Rooms: D132, D134, & D135. |
Farm Business Management -- Teams will assemble in the Commons and the event will be held in Room B105.
Veterinary Science -- Teams will assemble in the Cafeteria/Commons and the event will be held in Room C190. |
