Career Counseling 

Thinking about starting college and unsure of your career direction? Lost your job and interested in pursuing a new career? Our counselors can help you develop a career plan that's right for you.

Our services are here to assist prospective and/or current students explore their interests, skills and values to determine the best educational pathway to meet career goals.

Attend a Workshop or Class

  • Career Development Workshop

    This workshop is all about you. Assess your interests, skills, personality, values, and decision-making style. Explore occupations that would be a good fit for you. Workshops meet three sessions for a total of six hours. Individual appointments with a Career Counselor are part of this workshop. View the schedule and registration information.
  • Career Analysis & Development Course - 1 credit course

    This is a one-credit course that can be used as an elective in any program. Participants use information from interest, skill, personality, decision-making, and values assessments in addition to exploring occupational information to make a career plan.

  • College and Career Success - 2 credit online elective course

    Participants examine career options, develop academic and career goals, and learn specific skills to enhance their success in meeting their professional and personal goals. Topics include personal and academic assessments, determining career fits, and personal development skills including learning styles, time management, test-taking, how to access academic resources and goal setting.
